"We had a great time. The property is very family friendly and you can’t beat the location. I strolled down to the beach with my cup of coffee in the mornings. It only takes about 2 minutes. The kids enjoyed digging for hot water and swimming in the little river which is all a few hundred meters away. The communication with the owner was easy. We highly recommend this property."

"We had 5 adults and 3 children staying at the Bach. We all loved it. The location was fabulous for us as we visited the beach (and the estuary) often, and it was less than a 5 minute walk. The street and area generally felt very safe and family friendly, and it was nice and peaceful at the house. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. "Great views. It is a lockwood house so people need to know it is going to make some interesting noises and you are not getting burgled:-). Great place to take a break, handy to Ocean Beach, Whitianga, great places to eat locally as well."

"The house was in an excellent location. The street and neighbours were quiet and the view from the deck was true to the description of it. The best place to relax. Kitchen was well equipped. A house I will recommend to others."

"Overall was ok, good location but place needs a bit of updating as it is very dated but has everything you need. There are ripped curtains in the bedroom and the shower needs the pressure and door fixed - simple low cost fixes which would make it much better. Owners live on site permanently and people live below the unit in the garage also so you only have the deck to use."

"What a fantastic house for a big group. There were six of us ladies and we had plenty of space with our own rooms and plenty of bathrooms too. It was perfect for the dog with the estuary and beach being so close. The kitchen was very well stocked so preparing food was easy. Communication with the host was always quick and friendly. To top it all off we had wonderful decks to follow the sun around the house and the fire kept us cosy. Loved our stay. We'll be back!"

"Our family in law stayed here, and they loved it. Private own little space away from the rest of the house. The bathroom, bed room and cute little kitchen meant they had their own little set up. They couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed there stay here ."

"We stayed at this beautiful home with friends over 4 nights and everything was exceptional! The property is stunning and absolute luxury, you feel like you're on holiday the moment you step in, the rooms and layout are spacious and all beautifully set. The garage was a hit with all the games for kids and adults! A short stroll to the beach, and not far to the main town made this a great location with kids and adults to get out and about easily. "We loved our stay at the property. The house has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. Peaceful neighborhood at least at this time of the year. Plenty of room for the kids to play in the park next to the house. Tuis visiting the trees of the property everyday was definitely a plus!! Highly recommended!"

"This is a great location in Tairua. We had the two bedroom upstairs villa which is a little dated. Huge main bedroom and ensuite. The second bedroom was combined with a lounge so nowhere really to sit for a chat without being in with the kids. The kitchen was really just a couple of cupboards and a bar fridge. But all was very clean, beds comfortable, great location. The managers were lovely. We will stay again."
