"This is essentially a pole barn, and I assume it was once used as one, as indicated by the slight farm smell inside. The fact it's wide open is NOT a negative it's nice having room to move around, and the sleeping arrangements just work. Nobody (5) of us bothered the other while sleeping or staying up later than the rest. It worked out great. "The house was absolutely beautiful and was situated about 15 minutes outside Hamilton. I have traveled a lot a the hosts were excellent. I got to meet two other guests staying there as well. I didn’t have a tv in my room but it gave me the opportunity to unplug from the world. I did log in using their high speed internet and it was the best of any location I stayed at in New Zealand. "We loved this B and B. They had thought of everything….hairdryer, hot plates, pepper and salt, oil etc. very quiet and comfortable. Very new and modern inside with lovely linens on the beds. We popped into Cambridge for dinner but will cook our own next time as such well equipped kitchen. Many thanks."
