Lovely hotel in a great location. Executive room was well worth the extra, with the executive lounge offering food and drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic) from 11.30 til 8. Rooms very clean, hotel beautifully decorated and hotel staff friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in excellent condition. Its comfortable, quiet and outside the hustle and bustle of inner Prague. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only bad thing about the room was the shower was a little on the small side. A small inconvenience given the price of the hotel. The breakfast was really good and hearty. Scrambled eggs and the standard european fare - breads, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, fruits, etc. The restaurant was nice as well.
Warning - there is a nice walk to the metro station. Its not that bad, really. But for people that aren't prepared for a nice walk, be forewarned. I'd say its a 15-20 minute walk uphill going to the station. You can catch a bus a little closer but that's still a decent walk.
The hotel receptionist(s) all spoke good English and were friendly. The only person that wasn't very friendly was the lady that kept the breakfast area stocked.
If you've never been to Prague, please be sure to keep plenty of pocket change for the toilets and the metro. For some reason, the Metro only accepts coins. You can get a 24 hour ticket for about 110 kr. Also, if you drive or have a rental car, parking is plentiful and free at the hotel!
We had a really good time at the hotel, found it very reasonably priced for such a big name and it was a 15 minute walk or 5 minute tube ride to the the centre. We had a window facing the foyer but as it was under a glass roof and illuminated at night it was a decent trade off for views of the city itself.
My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel. It was outstanding, and we could not fault it. Areas in the hotel are currently being renovated, making access a trek for some rooms. The staff were all friendly, well educated and could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The Barego cocktail bar is excellent - try their signature nitrogen martini cocktails. The Essensia restaurant is spacious, and its Asian fusion food is beautifully prepared and served by attentive staff. The restaurant could lack atmosphere if not busy. Our suite was superbly decorated and equipped, and kept immaculately clean.
The concierge service is amazing and very helpful. All of their recommendations were a hit!!
No hesitation in recommending this as a great hotel in a quiet, central location beneath Prague Castle.
The hotel stands 4-5 station from center of the city, it just less than 10min by train and 3min walk from the station. so still good access to it. the facility is well maintained and managed and my room was comfortable enough. Given the price which was $75/night including good breakfast and reasonable wifi connection, i can recommend this hotel.
"Awesome hotel in Prague with an amazing staff!!!"
Hotel, staff and facilities were just amazing! Dinner at George Prime was excellent! I can't say enough about the amazing staff who went above and beyond to meet all our needs and requests!!! They are impressive! What a wonderful team. Our room was very well appointed. We got a queen room for two of us and thought the size was fine. The spa is beautiful. The Maharal Club is great for lounging. The stay far exceeded my expectations. Everything is modern and nice. Can't wait to return!!
