"Our hosts, Maria Eugenia and Jose, were amazing! Kind, informative, generous, helpful, I can't say enough about them. We stayed for four days, two couples in the larger home. It was spacious, each couple with their own bathroom. We ate most of our meals at home. Our comadre caught a cold right upon arrival. She had a comfortable place to read, rest and recover, while we enjoyed the pool and had such a wonderful outing in the boat on the Douro river. This was definitely a once in a life time...

"Lovely quiet holiday in the country, and still on the Algarve, not an English breakfast or fish and chips in sight, the accommodation is great and suited us well, plenty of room to site out on the patio's and enjoy the sunshine. It's a five mile drive to get to the shops so a car is a necessity, there is a little Portuguese cafe / bar just down the road that does nice coffee. "The villa was lovely, the pool photo is a little misleading as the pool is actually green, not blue. The instructions on how to get to the villa are a little misleading, we were advised to come off the A8 at junction 20,when in fact, if you come off the A8 at Junction 21 it is easier to find, perhaps a sign on the road just before the turn off would be good as it is not a named road, and just a dirt track that is easily missable.
