Bed and Breakfast in Portugal

"A pianist played beautifully during breakfast each morning. She was joined by a violinist on Saturday. The staff was very attentive and obviously happy to work in such a beautiful historic manor. Many quiet and well decorated spots around the property and inside the manor enabled us to enjoy the treats “free for the taking” throughout our stay. We came back 3 weeks later. 😄"

"Basic comfortable room with a TV and plenty of space. The shower was a bit small and as a fairly tall man, I wasn't able to stand under it fully. About expected for ~£80 a night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and quick in checking us in and out. We didn't have breakfast. "The only thing we didnt like was not having an elevator which was hard on my friend who has a bad knee but otherwise the staff was great, room was a good size and clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was average but acceptable. Love the location super convenient for everything but it can get loud at night since its near a square."

"I loved this hotel being central for town, bus station, boat trips and market. Very helpful friendly staff and ideal for solo female, safe door lock. Buffet breakfast included and adequate with fresh fruit and pastries. Front room does overlook small bar table area but not overly noisy and no music. Cathedral close by and main tourist attractions/museum. Bus to airport 9 at end of road which is promenade walking area and sea. Great short stay. Steps to access."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Republica Bed & Breakfast & Arts. Manuel greeted us and showed us around the facility . We needed some medical supplies and Manuel very kindly went with us to help secure them.The facility is open, clean ,breezy and very comfortable .Breakfast was tasty and Anna is a sweetie.
