Stunning 5 bedroom family home with unrivalled views
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (9)
"We had an amazing stay at Dan and Sarah's beautiful home. It is a fantastic property with stunning kitchen dinning room suited for socialising. The surrounding Countryside is great for waking and the homely feel made it perfect for the 3 toddlers we had with us and as a parent it was amazing that the kids were allowed to play with many of the toys left out. Thanks Dan and Sarah so much for accomadating our stay and going above and beyond to help my Father's 70th Birthday make unforgettable...

3.5 star property

"I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult...

Peaceful, Cosy Cottage in the Forest of Dean Overlooking Common Land.
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (136)
"The property was immaculate and well equipped. The host, Jane was extremely friendly and helpful. A quiet peaceful spot with chickens and sheep wondering around on the common land outside the enclosed garden. My only criticism is that the staircase was steep and difficult for me but it didn’t spoil our stay. I shall recommend to friends."

Traditional Country Cottage With Truly Amazing Views Over The River Wye
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (201)
"We had a lovely stay here. Stunning views from the cottage and was all very cosy and well-equipped. Great walks nearby and a pub within walking distance. We used the fire in the living room but it doesn't draw very well, so the room got very smoky (but might be my fire-making skills not being up to scratch!). Not the easiest to get to, especially if you have a large car. You'll need the directions, as it's really tucked away."

There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. "Fantastic place to stay, unwind and be at one with nature! Not quite in the middle of nowhere but close enough. There are shops locally but we took what we needed for our stay so we could get away from everything. We ditched the car and walked everywhere. The forest is on your doorstep and a nature reserve just over the road.. Ideal place if you have dogs, enjoy walking and want to get away from daily life, just be aware of the hills. The house was cosy. A peaceful haven where you can sit...

Barn conversion in beautiful countryside, sleeps 4

"When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. It stayed for our entire 3 night stay but not as distinct as when I first opened the door. Other than that we had a lovely stay. Beds being an elderly couple we found not as comfortable as we would have liked but got better over the 3 night stay. First night woke all the time. Liked the open space & privacy. We were lucky enough to even have a...

The Parkgate Hotel

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (1173)
"My room was surprisingly big, huge bathroom, very quiet and clean, had a very comfortable night of sleep there. Both the environment of the hotel and the decor of the room are stylish. But the breakfast was not as good as expected. Especially the quality of coffee and the lack of variety of not so fresh fruits. But I'll still come back for the amenities and the service. "
