"The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay"

"Great spot for us and we explored Cornwall from there for the week. Also good local knowledge of places to swim, eateries etc which was valued."

"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."

"The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again."

"What a little gem we found, suited our travelling plans, was central to places we planned on visiting. This place is so picturesque set at the bottom on a hill, majestic trees all the way up the hill, with a stream running around the front. We were warmly greeted by a wonderful lady, Jenny. The room was spacious and very well looked after. We will definitely be booking here again, and thank you for making us feel welcomed🤗 "

"Basic amenities, shared kitchen and bathroom, if the other room is occupied the experience can deteriorate if the occupant is untidy. Room warm and clean, bathroom ceiling requires painting, Plenty to eat "

"Had a nice nite needed for one night warm clean. Had a microwave and kettle and coffee and cereal an milk. Feeview Tv and a nice shower definitely worth the money can’t moan 😊"

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
