"My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

The Village is small and peacful, with a shop, post office, chip shop and a dog friendly pub that serves great beer and food and is only a 2 minute walk away. "We checked in to the family room as mentioned but noticed a smell which we initially ignored as we put the luggage down and went out to explore the place. When we returned that evening the smell had got worst so we opened the windows but after a while it became unbearable so we went to reception and informed them. The lady came with me checked it and immediately asked us to pack so we can be moved to a better room which was newer and in very good condition. She ensured we were happy before she left. However we could not find the TV remote in the room but chose not to mention as we were thankful for their service already."
