Cosy and clean two bedroom chalet, a 7 minute walk from the Norfolk coast with sandy beach (dog friendly). Perfectly positioned on the California Sands Estate to maintain a sense of rural solitude. Free onsite parking to the rear of the property.

Lovely chalet

The chalet is compact but really nice.Very comfortable and nicely furnished. Spotlessly clean too.Nice quiet site and a short walk to the beach. Not many places to eat especially if you have a dog but overall an enjoyable stay.

Third time stopping at this chalet will be back next year chalet was clean and tidy,milk tea,coffee and biscuits were in the chalet so no messing could get the kettle on straight away,beach just a few minutes away all in all very good value for a week at the coast

Nice clean property. Location on site meant that the music was unobtrusive. Added a visit to Horsey Gap, for a bit of seal watching.

California sands chalet

Stayed for 7 days this time as so lovely last time. Very clean chalet with everything you need for self catering holiday. Me my partner and our dog enjoyed some amazing walks along the beach. Looking forward to booking again for next year.

Great location

We had a 3 night stay in this lovely chalet which is in a great location. Just 5-10 minute walk to the beach where there is a pub serving food. The Sunday carvery is fantastic. The chalet has everything you need and communication with the owner is very good and informative. I will definitely stay again.

Lovely little get away

Really nice place, photos don't do it justice. Clean and well kept, shower + kitchen great. Really nice location, short walk to the beach, lovely site with lots of outside space for kids to play

Great to revisit cali sands after a few years! Always feel safe and comfortable on site, people are friendly, accommodation is perfect and good centrally for walking to the beach. The rental of this property was straightforward, from booking to check out with everything there to make it feel like home.

Very nice and relaxing had a great time. Only issue we found was the fridge would go off randomly and our milk would spoil. No data signal was a but of a hurdle as I needed to get some work finished but the cafe nearby was only a 5 minute walk so no dramas

Lovely little chalet equipped with everything you could need. Chalet was clean with 0 signs of mould and damp which is usually the case for chlaets and caravans near the seaside. Even though it didnt bother us too much, it is very dated. The fridge is on its last legs and doesnt really keep things cold. I didnt use the cooker so not sure if it was fully working. It is a pet friendly chalet and there was a damp musty smell from the carpet and sofas and they need to be cleaned or replaced. Holiday park has club house and swimming pool. Bus stop is right outside the park.

Enjoyable stay

Stayed here several times, it’s a lovely little chalet but unfortunately we’ve outgrown it now, being pregnant this time around I couldn’t sleep well due to the double bed being so uncomfortable which I mentioned in my review last year too. The location is perfect and the on site facilities are always great, easy bus routes into Yarmouth and hemsby. Chet had all its home comforts just feel it needs updating, the double bed, the sofas and the box of children’s toys could all do with being renewed. Still very much enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay

The property was easily found, the key was easily produced, we entered and it was extremely clean, the owner left everything we needed including the pint of milk in the fridge. We were very pleased at the outcome as we'd never been here before, the surrounding areas clubhouse facilities were excellent even though it was out season, we are grateful to the owner of this property and hopefully we left it as we found it. 10/10
