"I was very impressed. I loved the history of the old stables - now converted tastefully into accommodation, and I thoroughly enjoyed the native plant arboretum and nursery where I saw many rare native plants. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly too."

"I’ve stayed six or seven times. Ōtaki breaks a long drive before driving onto the ferry. It’s spotlessly clean. The room rate is reasonable and this little motel has everything I could need. The patio opens onto a reserve."

"We stayed here for a wedding across the state Highway at The Milk Station. It was amazing. Fire wood was provided and fully stocked which heated the main areas so well. There was extra bedding, 3 bedrooms, heaps of space in-doors and out-doors, and toys for my 6 month old and my nephew and nieces to visit. Traveling with a little one can be stressful but staying here took away some of that pressure as they had a portacot, cutlery, toys, a washing machine and all the essentials. It was a home away from home. Thank you so much Vicky for having us and making our trip from Tauranga a little easier. 💕"
