"The paddle boards and canoes on the lake made the trip really fun for teenagers. Right on a nice lake so it’s shallow enough to explore and also swim out deeper and much warmer than Lake Michigan which is close enough to drive back and forth from easily."

Only issues were minor, some silverware had to be rewashed, personal communication was non-existant leaving it unclear how to ask questions for like finding extra blankets...which we never found. "What a perfect family vacation! The property is perfect with fun options for the kids on the water. My two boys loved the SUPs and kids kayaks and were anxious to use them throughout our stay. The location is quiet and far from noisy touristy spots. We were pleasantly surprised! The cottage was only a few feet from the water which was perfect! We will be back!"

"We had a really great time here. The place was very clean and our pets loved the acreage to run and play. Very close to Traverse city where we took our 3 year to play for a day at Great Wolf lodge. I would highly recommend a stay if you are planning to visit the Traverse City area. I noticed there was even a place to go kayaking about 15 minutes down the road but it was too cold in March."
