Nice Scottish breakfast buffet as well but for us the beautiful landscape and building architecture were the highlight. We found the service to be decent with couple moments of great service. "

"In my opinion, stay at the Haymarket hotel. Here's why: We had a lovely 7 days in Edinburgh, and there's some things you need to know about this particular hotel and Edinburgh as a whole. Edinburgh is very well interconnected, for £5 a day (or less for bundle purchases) you can use unlimited trams and buses for the day within the city. As convenient as this hotel is with it's location just behind the royal mile, we could have easily taken the tram or bus daily, or for a couple pennies taken...
