"The property was very nice, well located near downtown Lisbon and close to a Metro station. It took staff over 24 hours to send access code (since it’s fully automated) and they had to be called in order to see what was going on. "The location was perfect for our walking tour of Lisbon and close to Rossio Station for taking the train to Sintra. The front desk was very helpful and stored our luggage when we arrived in the early morning, but our room was ready by 11:00 am. Everything was clean and as represented. The room is small, but we found it fine for two people staying for three nights. Bar inside the hotel was nice, we did get food there one night and it wasn't great but the drinks and service were. "Property is gorgeous and I was drawn to it being part of the old castle. But it is up on the Alana hill and not all taxi or Uber drivers will take you all the way to hotel. Book airport shuttle service through the hotel if possible. There are also peacocks around the hotel that are very loud and act like a roaster waking you up early in the morning. Staff was great. Very attentive and helpful "
