"It was amazing service , staff were welcoming and helped out the best they could. We had unlimited food options and some reservations but it was fine because it was worth the wait. The place is safe and isolated for only the hotels located there which is perfect for not some much people at the beach. There tours offered at the hotel and we took one and it was amazing . Cleaning service were good just that they would come at different times every day. "

"This resort was a shock to my senses. The Sunrise rooms are standard. We had the family room which is two rooms attached by the door in the middle. We didn’t spend more time on the room but the resort itself was great. The ice cream shops, the golf carts and the staff was great. Drinks were awesome, my kids loved the playroom soooo much they wanted to go before we left the day of. Spa service at the Golf Course was very relaxing and the Awe Princess spa was soooo cuuuttteee. My 4yr old got a facial, mani, pedi and was in a cute little robe. Absolutely looking forward to my next trip back because I didn’t get to do enough."

"The Excellence Riviera Cancun was magical. I have been to 5 different resorts in the area and this one takes the top. The food is one of the most important aspect of an all inclusive resort for me and this resort delivers, both on the buffet and the a la cart restaurant. Since this is an adult only resort, the entertainment was also top notch. My favourite was the Michael Jackson performance and the circus show. Lastly, the service was unbeatable. I had pool and beach staff swinging by every 30min or so taking drink and food order, all very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back!"

"Overall great experience at Catalonia. I really could not come up with anything negative to say other than We did have AC issues in our room but the staff went above and beyond to get us into a new room. Food was great. Plenty of dining options. Make sure you book reservations when you Arrive to guarantee a spot. Pool is huge and there are plenty of chairs by the pool and beach. Entertainment team is great as well!! I would recommend this resort and will be back!!"

" The beach directly in front of the Blue Bay isn't the best, but if you don't mind walking 10 minutes to the left, you'll find a much nicer stretch of beach where you can have a great time. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews—those are just Karens being Karens. Me being an American, I felt disgusted when another American said, "I'm an American, I need the HVAC to work." They were being disrespectful to the staff, asking them to hurry up at check-in. This place is actually fun and offers great value for its price. The rooms are extremely cold, which is perfect after a hot day, and there is a lot to do for the price. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and there is plenty of food to eat. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it! "
