"The location was Great, GPS off a lil bit. There was a messy tree that our shoes dragged little buds in all the time. The key box was a little hard to open. The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. Little touches that make it feel personal. The beds were comfortable."

While it would be a 15 minute or so walk to Main Street, we did drive as there was no way our old lady bones could have walked those hills especially with all our shopping bags.. There is a weird noise in the house.when it started raining. Kinda sounds like a weed wacker constantly going."

"This is the third time we stayed at this house. It’s a quiet spot with everything we need. There are wonderful hiking paths. Golfing is everywhere, but we don’t golf. We look forward to coming to Galena every year. We plan to come back next year for the Ups and Downs bicycle event."

"This house is sitting on top of the River Bank overlooking the mississippi. There's absolutely nothing blocking your view. The sunrise we experience was absolutely gorgeous. The small home has lots of amenities and is worth the trip."

"Amazing! Even better than the description. Such an amazing place to stay and excellent communication with the property manager. We will definitely be going back. We stayed 2 nights but that was not long enough. Next time we plan on going for a week! This property is the type of place all you need to bring is your clothes and a toothbrush (honestly they even had toothbrushes and toothpaste too lol). We couldn't believe all the extras they had for us in the home. Board games, shampoo, conditioner,...

One thing I didn’t understand from the listing is that the bottom floor of this home is empty currently. also didn’t understand that the bathroom would be in the hallway and not enclosed in the two room and sitting area suite. Place was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. You can walk to town in 12 minutes and we enjoyed our stay."

"Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. Although the staff is off site they are super friendly, honest and pretty knowledgeable about the area which is great for first time visitors. The property was super clean and offers an amazing view of the Mississippi River and the lock and damn. My only bummer was the property is not in...
