Phil, the owner was quick to respond and reached out throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was spotless and clean. Everything we needed to be comfortable was on site. Phil really thought of everything. The hot tub was clean and in great working order. Our pup was super happy with all the toys and goodies for her to enjoy!

Wonderful fall visit to Galena

My wife, dog, and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were incredibly communicative and accommodating. Very comfortable with great amenities, and a very short (and pretty) walk to Main Street Galena. Large backyard for our dog to explore! Will definitely plan future trips here in the future.

This home was soooooo convenient!! The house is very charming and beds were comfortable. The back yard is huge and would be so ideal for dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. The house is a little small. We had 5 adults staying, but probably wouldn’t recommend for any larger group.

I would definitely recommend this rental to anybody. Great location, great space and very clean. We enjoyed our stay. I never got a chance to sit in the hot tub but looked very inviting. Also loved the fenced in yard if you bring your furry friends its nice to have.

Hadn't been to Galena in years and it was certainly worth the trip. We had a great time, the house set up was great, everything we needed and it was an easy walk to downtown. We enjoyed the hot tub and the dogs loved the fenced in backyard!

Thanks, Phil & Casey!The home was in a perfect location & superb amenities.We brought our two doggos & they thoroughly enjoyed the backyard. Completely secure & fenced in, a tad dark at the back of the property for past sunset - bring a flashlight! There is a neighbor dog to the right of the property that barks but did not come over to the fence line, probably a senior (just FYI for future visitors in the case of reactive dogs).Would stay again, 10/10

Phil was a helpful host and the Nook was as advertized. It was clean and included the necessities, like shampoo and towels. We appreciated the living room area where we could sit and talk as a group. The kitchen is a bit small for multiple people doing multiple kitchen tasks, but we managed. I would recommend this place and host.

Galena getaway

Cousins getting together for a weekend in Galena. We found the Nook to be a perfect base of operations for our exploration of Galena. The Nook was clean, perfectly appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We didn’t even have a chance to enjoy the fire pit or the hot tub. We highly recommend the Nook!!!
