"Stayed for a recent visit to Manchester for a visit to the AO arena, lovely hotel nice bar area where we waited for our rooms to be available, every member of staff we dealt with were very friendly and hardworking, made sure everything we just right for us which is was. Special mention to Eduardo who was fantastic. We parked in the university car park which was £16.50 and just next door. We got a mini bus taxi into the city and it was only £11. "I really liked this hotel. It has a very industrial feel to it with exposed piping and unpainted plaster wall. Don’t go here if you are looking for a Hilton type hotel but if you are looking for something a bit different I would recommend giving it a go. I would definitely book here again."

"we stayed here for the laughterama comedy festival at castlefield bowl and it was perfect. The hotel literally overlooks the bowl and there are so many of Manchesters best places to see, restaurants, bars etc within 10-15 minutes including the science and history museum across from the hotel. The room we stayed in was huge and super clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. "

"The Selina, was perfect for going out in town and easy reach of trams and trains. Luckily we stayed out till the wee hours, so missed the noise of a Saturday night in the room. I loved the coupon for a free drink,comfy bed, . The only trouble was, the shower was just about luke warm at best, . Great for a base if going out in Manchester.Wouldnt advise if you need a good sleep for the next day.There are earplugs in the room. 8 out of 10, would stay there again if going out in Manchester "
