Chocolates awaited my arrival. Room service answered promptly and brought my meal within 20 minutes. Perhaps by looking at my identification card, the hotel discovered that it was my birthday and a bottle of champagne appeared. Taxis were called before I could voice my request. The room was nicely appointed. I walked by while the cleaning staff was refreshing my room. One lady was wiping down the mirror behind the headboard. I have never witnessed such thorough cleaning! I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
Beautiful entrance and Reception area. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Check in was very fast and efficient and the Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
We were initially allocated a room on the side of the hotel. The room was lovely but sadly overlooked a derelict building with rubble. We asked to be upgraded to a room with a Port view. This was done within minutes and the extra bed was arriving before we even go there! The view was lovely and really made the holiday. I have rated the hotel excellent in all areas but this was because of the view. The hotel was not full and it would have been nice to have been allocated a room with a view initially and then we would not have seen the more unpleasant view, which is very unfortunate for the hotel.
The breakfast was fabulous. The staff very attentive and ensuring everything was fresh and re filled as necessary. It was great to eat on the terrace outside.
The pool area was spotless and there were plenty of sun loungers to accommodate the guests at the hotel. The sun loungers were really comfortable and it was great to have pool towels readily available. There was a life guard in attendance who was very friendly and helpful making sure everyone had towels and could operate the parasols!!
The spa was also an added bonus at the hotel.
The beds were very comfy and the room was big enough.
Great place, fantastic staff, very good food. But really if you would like to have a beach holidays go somewhere else. I have been here with my 2 year old son and "beach" was too small for him.
There are nice pools and good swimmers can go to swim to sea.
Immediately made to feel welcome - the hotel manager is clearly passionate about his hotel and the customer's experience. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the hotel facilities were great. The meals were of a very high standard, with lots of variety and good quality local and international dishes. We would certainly return.
You go there because of the fantastic outside facilities: spacious garden-like grounds, various pools, chillout areas, andgreat views of the coastline. The room, even though it had seaview, left much to be desired: the bed was too narrow and the room had stains.
Despite their inability to provide clean glasses for orange juice we recommend the breakfast buffet as it offered an excellent range of options and good quality food. The omelettes and crepes need a heating plate.

As expected the hotel is set in a rural location and the reviews we had read prior to booking proved to be accurate. Really lovely hotel, and our room was very good. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our 7 night stay, and the leisure facilities are excellent. The buffet breakfasts were always of a good standard and the two evening meals we had were just great. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Wonderful stay at this UR hotel, the pictures don't do it justice! Good sized rooms and big ensuite. Hotel is next to the transport hub of the city and is perfectly easy to get to by bus from the airport (€3). Don't bother with breakfast, it's too highly priced for what it is (€12 a head). Supermarket nearby, which is very convenient! Enjoyed our stay even though we were moved on the second day due to a burst pipe! Helpful and kind staff, the room was also very clean! A very good nearby resteraunt is 'Claxon' AMAZING food, be sure to look it up!
