Reasonable place in an expensive town

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended a wonderful inexpensive Indian restaurant called the Spice Grills located within walking distance of the guest house. The room furniture was adequate- sort of garage sale quality. Okay for us but maybe not for those who are used to a higher rent. Room had fridge and shower. Shared toilet in hall was not an issue. Breakfast was good-typical English breakfast. Lots of street noise and no AC/fans so do not go in the heat of the summer when you need to leave the windows open. On a good note the neighborhood was very eclectic, ethnic and close to all forms of public transportation. We generally give it a thumbs up for basic place to sleep.

Good location, Better than Hostel not a real Hotel

Plaza Hotel has a really good location, near everything. there are stores and puns a few steps. the quality of the service is better than Hostel but is not a real Hotel, good to go alone, but dont think to bring your wife there.

Neighbourhood recommendations: near tamesis greenwich station you wilol find a small market is absolultly beatifull, lots of international food (cheap), and things to buy.

Dining: dont eat on turistic places.

Nice location, poor stay

It was ok- very small, extremely hot and stuffy (we were there in late May). The shower drain did not work and threatened to overfill onto the carpet (shower in room w/ sink, toilet in hallway). The staff was friendly. They had no problem watching our luggage for a while after we checked out and even let us check in early. I wouldn't stay here again, although it wasn't exactly terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to relax or do anything other than sleep in the room.
