"First time visiting South Dakota and it is beautiful. The cabin was just as published. Very spacious. All the utensils, pot and pans you could ever want. There were even a few spices that were available to use. The owner was very friendly and promptly answered questions after messaging him. The grounds were perfect, quiet, and surrounded by trees. There's a restaurant within walking distance that had very good food. The TV's were very hard to figure out so a how-to sheet would have been nice to...

"The cabin is huge and very well kept, and has all the amenities you could need for even an extended stay. Kids enjoyed themselves immensely with a good selection of games (as well as TVs in every room). Beds are numerous and comfortable. The neighborhood is great, and the clubhouse top notch. Convenient location just outside of Lead and right next to excellent hiking, the Gilded Buffalo is a great base of operations for an exciting vacation in the Black Hills."

"The property is even more beautiful than in the pictures! Very quite and clean. Layout of the house is perfect for a large group with plenty of space for privacy of each guest. The house is fully stocked with all the necessities and then some. The sauna is good sized and the hot tub was perfect! Would highly recommend this property!"

"Close to grocery store and gas . Busy street and one lane. Many steps up and down. Farther away from a lot of the tourists traps but within 30 to 50 miles. Pretty drive going and coming every day."

"The location and cleanliness were excellent. However the downstairs door to the deck would not lock. Property manager was aware of this BEFORE we checked in and said they couldn't get parts to repair door lock. We were not made aware of this until we tried to lock the door."

"The property is a clean, updated, and no frills kind of place. It is perfect for a stay with your dog and kids. If you are expecting things like tissue, shampoo, a hair dryer, or dish towels, they won’t be there. But the home is bigger than it looks, the beds are comfortable, and the yard is fenced. Again, perfect for a family stay."
