"A great get-away place to stay. Wonderful house and gardens to sit back and relax in. Perfect spot to go for walks and wander to the beaches. Supermarket, fish and chip shop and bar within a 5 minute walk which is all bases covered. Great host with great communication. Would recommend to others needed a relaxing break."

"Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....

"Lovely comfortable home for extended family stay. Once firewood was sorted (thankyou) fire was great for heating whole house. Spectacular views from main bedroom and lounge plus decks. Very close to Akaroa. Unfortunately didnt get email re checking in arrangements but sorted quickly once we got someone on the phone!"

"Great break, overall good property. Great area. Kitchen sink drain had bad smell and was bit off putting. Should advise clients that they may want to bring bottled water as the tap water has a strong taste. View from the deck would be greatly improved if the large pine tree down by the lawn area had a branch trim. Overall did enjoy our stay and would consider returning."
