A self contained tiny house set in tranquil woodland setting with views of the Pacific Ocean. Main living area contains comfortable seating and dining table. Kitchen has fridge and cooking hob. A ladder leads to the sleeping loft so guests should have a reasonable level of agility. There is a super comfortable mattress, quality linen and a view out to Banks Peninsula via an opening skylight. Tiled bathroom contains toilet and shower. French doors open to decking , outdoor furniture and barbeque area.

Very nice tiny house

The stay was lovely. The tiny house is in the garden of the owners house, well equipped and clean with a perfect view on the bay area / sunrise. Just bear in mind, that you have to climb up some steps to get into bed.

A Perfect Spot

A perfect little spot to enjoy the surrounding area of Taylors Mistake and Sumner. Access to town, beaches and the great trails is perfect. Wonderful and welcoming hosts that helped above and beyond with our stay. Highly recommend as a short or long getaway!

Perfect tiny house

We loved our stay at the tiny home. It is perched above Sumner with a bedroom view of the ocean and set in a lovely garden. The house had everything we needed and a delightful ambience.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Christchurch. The nearby Taylor's mistake beach and the Godley beach park were beautiful. The communication with the owner was excellent and the tiny house was exactly what we expected and needed. It is a steep walk from the bus stop but the views alone a worth the effort.

Well presented tiny home. Loved the location for something different, a jog to the heads to explore the WW11 guns at the heads was a highlight. Hamish was a great host and very accomodating letting us store the bikes in the garage. 100%

Great tiny house with everything you need for a nice stay. Hamish is very helpful & friendly. Nice scenic, quiet location (except for some wind noise occasionally). Definitely would recommend.

Cozy & peaceful tiny house by the sea!

We had such a wonderful stay at Hamish & Ronene’s tiny house. Such a cozy, peaceful and warm refuge during the wintertime. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, watching the sunrise from the loft bed (super comfy!) and relaxing on the couch with the sun streaming through the window. The tiny house is in an unreal location - a short walk down to both Sumner and Taylor’s Mistake on beautiful trails. Hamish & Ronene are so lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommend!

Great little space

Fantastic little tiny home, a quiet space close to coastal walks with fantastic views.Loved that it was out of the hustle and bustle of the mainncity but easy access to Sumner Beach cafes and east drive iver the hill to Littleton.

What a gem

This accomodation is absolutely terrific. It's small, yes. But it has absolutely everything you need and is very cozy. Haemish couldn't have been a better and more welcoming host. I would stay again without hesitation.

We loved our stay in the little house. Even though compact, the house was well equipped for a short stay, the bed in the loft very comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot. Hamish is a kind and accommodating host, responsive to any need. We enjoyed our walk along the cliffs, too, and visit to town.
