"Always enjoy the Tickled Trout however service can be a bit hit and miss but cannot fault this visit- check in smooth and informative thanks to Rebecca and restaurant was awesome- nicest lasagne I’ve ever had! Great sleep could do with more than the four tiny milks for coffee "

"Had a very surprising experience, paid £65 for 1 single room and didn’t expect much due to the price, just something cheap and cheerful, maybe a bit dated. Room massively surpassed expectations - view of lake Windermere, minimal white/grey design, really clean, and to top it off, an amazing power shower that went ARCTIC COLD (for those who do cold showers, this one’s for you). Had the best stay! Also, it’s right next to the entrance for the walk up to Orrest head for a full panoramic view of Windermere. Perfection. "
