Second stay in this hotel since it opened earlier this year. The typical "new hotel" service glitches have all been worked out and the hotel is running very smoothly now. Breakfast buffet is outstanding. Location is not perfect, but only 10 minutes by taxi to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia on a secondary road without heavy traffic. Well worth the significant savings over Hyatt, Mandarin and Kempinski...
Nice and classy hotel to stay at.The staff are really helpful. After we checked in and were in our room, we realised that we had misplaced one of our bags in the lobby on the way to the room. Upon notifying the staff, they promptly assisted us and located the bag for us, delivering it to our room. A major bonus of the hotel is that they provide a generous amount of water bottles; four when compared to other hotels who provide two. A major reason for why we chose this hotel is due to the prime location, being close to major malls, thereby avoiding extra travel time from the Jakarta traffic jams. A minor negative with the hotel is that the décor of the room were a bit old and this was evident in items such as the tables and chairs inside the room and hallways outside.
1) Friendly and helpful staff
2) Love the varieties of buffet breakfast
3) Readily money changer at the reception
4) Feel safe due to very tight security
5) Warm welcome by staffs
6) Room and toilet are always clean
This hotel offers a very good service, for example you can order lunch or dinner to your room. There's also a minibar, and of course an air condition, but I didn't need to use the AC during the stay, the room didn't become warm. In the details you can see that the hotel is not very new, in the bathroom was a tile lost, and the water in the toilet was a bit too much. But at all I can recommend this hotel.
I used this hotel as a base for a recent visit and it was excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly, the room was clean and what I wanted, everything worked and I had a very enjoyable time.
The food downstairs in the Buzz restaurant was excellent and I did like that the evening dinner was both á la carte and buffet. The buffet option allowed you to try and mix and match the Indonesian dishes that you might not have met before, while the á la carte menu had a good choice of ‘old friends’.
The only minor drawback was that it is not in the best area of Jakarta, but this should not be a problem, if you intend to go to and return from your destinations by taxi, which is the best option anyway. They do have a taxi rank beside the hotel and a taxi will appear quickly.
Room Tip: Following the usual tip, I suggest that you ask for a higher floor and try to get the non-street side, but that said, it was not too noisy an area anyway. Usual tip, before geeting into a taxi, be very sure that you know where you are going and get the hotel staff to confirm it with the taxi driver. This is no issue for them, as they want you to have a pleasant stay.

Overall, the hotel is a great buy for the price. The staff, the room, the bed, cafe and everything else was really nice. It's a shame that i checked in at 11PM and had to run out in the morning the following day. Never got to explore the neighborhood, but the hotel info says that it's very close to shopping centers and all.
