"Our stay at the hotel was brief just one night . The rooms were beautifully decorated, our bed faced looking out to the water . Breathtaking sunset . Everything in Mallaig is close , walking distance so didn’t need to drive to get to restaurants . Hotel sits on the hill overlooking the water . Staff friendly easy check in and check out . "

"Whilst it has some minor upgrade/ maintainance work in progress it didnt impact on our stay. The continuous flashing light in the hall outside our room overnight was annoying though! Either dicky electrics or haunted ! ( cant vouch for either being the case!) Fabulous accomodating staff, rooms were clean and well presented , more outdated than some places but quirky charm . Just off the town green parade area, well appointed next to train station and short walk from ferry landing ( well worth a short trip across the loch . Good selection of shops and eateries nearby.wouls return and reccomend "

"Very nice property. Great views. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Room and bathroom spacious. It’s a bit of a drive to isle of skye hiking but manageable. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This was a very nice place to stay for 2 nights. I hiked Ben Nevis and did some rock climbing in the area. Super convenient and in the country. Comfy bed, nice shower. All these smaller properties are hard to book online. I thought I booked 2 twin beds and ended up sharing a king bed with my mom. This happened several times. It was likely my fault. "

"The staff and service were exceptional. Breakfast buffet was outstanding too! We also had dinner there one night. Impeccable service and the food was very good. Try the Apple Tea - it was so soothing and delicious! "
