"Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."

"I usually do not right reviews, however this hotel was exceptional for service and checking us in at 2:00 a.m. George was at the desk in the morning and I missed the lads name at check in. They were both exceptional. We booked for one night due to late flight in Heraklion. They were both extremely friendly and helpful after busy day of traveling. Rooms were spotless.
