"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "I usually do not right reviews, however this hotel was exceptional for service and checking us in at 2:00 a.m. George was at the desk in the morning and I missed the lads name at check in. They were both exceptional. We booked for one night due to late flight in Heraklion. They were both extremely friendly and helpful after busy day of traveling. Rooms were spotless.
