"We decided on a last minute family trip to Yosemite and this location fit the bill - perfect to accommodate the extended family and with high speed internet for those of us who could not manage days off of work. The house is gorgeous and well taken care of. The views from the interior and exterior are stunning. The host is very responsive and helpful. This is not a property to pass up if you have a chance to stay here. I am certain we will book again!"

"The house has the best stocked kitchen in terms of any utensil and appliance you need, is very comfortable especially when traveling with kids. There wasn’t much bath soap or paper products - only enough for 2 people. The property management is through Vacasa so expect professionalism but from a distance - not as responsive as a person. 'Hiker's Escape' met all our requirements perfectly. The cabin never felt crowded even when all 7 humans and 1 dog were in the main area. "Spent a lovely weekend at this spacious, very clean, home. We appreciate that the kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked amazingly! Beds were comfortable. The owners were super accommodating, responsive, friendly and made sure we felt welcome. Pine Mountain Lake is the perfect retreat from daily life, and the drive to Yosemite was enjoyable! On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms, a spacious family area, a well-equipped kitchen, outdoor patio with stairs that connects to a small basketball area on the second floor (surface level). "This home is great for a family. We stayed in July which was hot so we loved the use of the lake that is only 2-3 minutes away from the house. We also loved the large open kitchen off of the spacious family room. With that being said, the kitchen cabinets were a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning. The kitchen could also use a new set of pots and pans. There were very few and they were old and the surfaces were flaking off. There was also only one extra roll of paper towel and not enough...
