I I had to criticise I would say it can be a bit noisy in the morning when setting up breakfast if you have one of the inside rooms... But really a nice place we loved it."

"Pleasant stay but many nicer places in Hermanus. 10 minute walk to town. Owner was rather intense in communications. Parking not easy to get in or out of tho we were lucky and got the one more accessible space. Although spa and free bike rentals mentioned in Hotels.com information there was no sight or mention of either.on site . "

"A lovely, clean and tidy room with its own private terrace. The owners were very friendly with great tips on where to visit etc. A great location for a coastal walk. We walked into town which was full of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was served outside and was plentiful and delicious. All in all a really lovely stay. "

Also small but charming is the welcome room off reception with a decent complementary tawny Port on offer, and on Hermanus’s occasional colder evenings, a log fire."

"Beautiful property facing the Fynbos and the Ocean at Hermanus. Clear view of the Southern Right whales during whale season located in one of the best spots to see them as well. Steps to the beautiful Cliff Path walk for a morning or afternoon walk and 10 minutes by car to the center of town. Couldn’t be better located in my opinion. The entire staff is ready to help you with anything you need and fully interested in providing you a warm welcoming experience. The breakfast options every morning...

"The property is lovely and welcoming. It’s unfortunate that the Duty Manager is rude and bitter. She ruined the experience by kicking us out of the property at 11:40 saying that we cannot leave our car because the property closes when she takes her lunch break. We were told that she was new. Well, she clearly should not be working in the hospitality industry. We didn’t even spend 24h on the property although we booked the Honey Moon suite. "This is a friendly B&B that are so popular is SA. All rooms have great views of the sea and would offer excellent viewing during the season when whales are in the bay. It is also a nice walk into the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants. The room has traditional decoration which is well maintained and clean. "This was a quick stop to our Great White Diving excursion! The place was perfect, big kitchen, big fridge, big everything. The apartment has a place to good braai and heated beds when it is cold. There is a tube and shower. Hot water is great. The area is safe and nice. Few good restaurants around the area, but we preferred to eat in since it was so nice. Check in was great, there is a gated entrance where you can leave the car. Highly recommended! "
