"Please don’t hesitate in booking this property. It was immaculate and the amenities far exceeded other properties I have stayed at. Plenty of paper products, towels and kitchen supplies. The owner has supplied everything you need, even throw blankets for the sofas when you want to cozy up in the cute living room. The king bed was extra comfy. Would absolutely stay here again."

John and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Was lovely to see all the fouls that were born in the weeks before we got there."

"The house was very cute and comfortable. We had the basics as needed in the apartment. The beds and linen made for a good night sleep. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. The drive from Lexington was so scenic. Definitely check out Wallace Station Deli right down the road. I would recommend this place to others traveling to the area."

"Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. It woke up early every morning just to see if they were there. Sat on the porch every evening and enjoyed the sounds of farm life in the distance. Thank You!"

"The basics on the property were as expected. The snacks were a nice touch and the basics for the property were fine. The TV only had Roku, so any network TV, such as watching the World Series at night, couldn't be done. I've stayed at other VRBOs and they were upfront about the TV channels access. Letting the renters know upfront on the property summary that the TV is only Roku should be done. The property manual on-site is way out of date and held in a broken spiral notebook. It contains...

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is fantastic; it is outside if town, with rural appeal, but just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Its a sweet cottage that has everything you need and is wonderfully furnished and decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. "This is a fantastic house, great for a couple freinds or a pair of couples. The bedrooms are large, beds comfortable, and decent baths in each. The common room is spacious and the kitchen updated and modern. Location is great to walk downtown to restaurants and other shops. The one downside is the train. Train runs through Shelbyville all/most nights and blows its horn for several minutes each time. We didn’t notice the earplugs on the table in the entryway until cleaning up at checkout. It...

"The cottage is cute, very clean and spacious. We walked the trail down to the creek and around the main house one morning. Very peaceful. We met the donkeys Chet and Lloyd and fed them carrots. Convenient to distilleries and places of interest. We would definitely recommend this property!"

"The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. "Location was quiet and peaceful. Floors very uneven in house throughout. Shower small and tight. Light switches were difficult to figure out what worked what and where! Light switch in one bedroom worked lights in one other bedroom. Kitchen ceiling light switch was not found at all. Gas grill had not been cleaned so we did not use it. Steep bank down to dock, difficult to navigate even with rocks they had placed as walk way. Just disappointed as the location was so serene."

"The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house."
