"This cabin is great. From check in to check out everything was as stated and cabin was great. I would definitely stay here a again. Only a few miles from main entrance to New River Gorge, and Thurmond. Easy drive to all other parts of the National Park. We even got in a few State Parks and 1 Battlefield. And dog friendly was the icing on the cake."

"This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for...

"Very very nice- appreciate hot tub ready for every day- toilet paper and paper towel soap etc already available was real nice- consider a box of Kleenex would be a nice touch but that is not a complaint- directions on the fireplace would be nice unless it’s not meant to be used- thanks for being a very nice part of our beautiful trip"

"The cabin is exactly as described. The grounds keeper went out of his way to grab trash we hadn’t taken over yet while we were out. A lot of reviews mentioned the road being bad, but it’s just a typical narrow dirt road. I can see it maybe being a little intimidating if you never drive on unpaved roads, but it is very well maintained, just go slow and be mindful while passing people and you won’t have an issue."

"Wonderful location to find some quiet and solitude. Beautiful property with wonderful trails. Even on the rainy day we had sitting on the patio with a hot cup of tea and a warm blanket listening to the rain hit the tin roof and splash on the pond was serene. We were provided plenty of clean towels, sheets and blankets. The upstairs is beautiful and everything I hoped for in a cabin in the woods. We will definitely be coming back, hopefully in the fall when the colors of the mountains come alive....

"The house was perfect for our needs. It was the ideal location as it was just 5-10 miles from the "big" stores or just a couple from the nearest Dollar General and gas station. Fat Eddies was a happening place with good food, ice cream and within walking distance if one truly wanted to walk there (we opted to drive since we spent the day hiking). "The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. Kitchen was nicely stocked, note there were no paper products in the kitchen. House was clean and welcome bag was a nice touch! Thanks for a great base for our trip."
