"A quiet haven"
Our preferred hotel when visiting Amsterdam. A very restful countryside environment after the bustle of the city. There's nothing incredible about it - but the rooms are large and clean, the plumbing does what it should, the beds are comfortable, there is no traffic noise and the other guests don't seem to have wild parties late at night. The restaurant overlooks the golf course and the food is very good. The menu is partly Asian, partly Dutch and makes an enjoyable and good value alternative to eating in the city. Centraal Station is about 35 minutes by bus which runs frequently from very early till after midnight. The cost is 10 euros return but the ticket can also be used on other buses from the same company - allowing visits to Edam and Volendam, for example. The car park is large and free and the hotel is roughly 15 minutes from the A10 ring.

"Quiet, and only 25 minutes to town"
This was my first time in Amsterdam. I wondered whether this place would be a mistake, because it was further away from downtown than the other places on Expedia. But, it sounded so nice for the price, and we had just come from Paris, so I thought I would enjoy being in the country. It was good fortune that we wound up here, and we would stay again. Any of 2 or 3 buses stops right across the road from the hotel, and it is only about 25 minutes to town. The room was big enough, the beds were comfortable, there was a little patio. The best thing about the room was the bathtub, which was a giant soaking tub. There was loads of closet space. The pool and exercise room are nice, and we also booked a very affordable half hour massage (I would have gotten an hour, but it was not offered). The bar in the exercise area makes a vegetable smoothie, which is totally delicious. I was really craving one after eating a diet of scones and steak pies while in England, and pasta and other heavy foods while in Paris. I can't say much for the hotel restaurant, but that may be just because I am not used to the regional cuisine. Two things we ordered from there to us were inedible. We rented motor scooters, and had a nice time riding. The busses run all of the time, so you can goof off in Amsterdam until late.

"Nice hotel but out of the main city"
We have stayed in this hotel for our short visit to Amsterdam for 2 days. Hotel was situated out of the main city area and that is the one bad thing if you are looking to see nightlife of Amsterdam and then plan to go late in the hotel. Hotel was in beautiful area and room was bit spacious along with big bathroom however they have not provided the hair dryer (which was missed by my wife). We also missed the coffee or tea making stuff in the hotel room. We have enjoyed staying there for 2 nights as the area was very peaceful.

"Rest & Go"
It was a fairly avarage hotel outisde Amsterdam close to a train station. We were allocated a room on the fifth floor which had a great big hotel vent near the window; we were expecting a nice outside view on the 5th floor but our window opened onto the lower roof at the front of the building; exhaust vents and ducts etc were the main outisde view for us. I asked the hotel receptionist for an alternative room with a better view and I was told if I wanted to change the room I would have to pay extra 15 Euros. One good gesture by the staff which I have not experienced in many hotels, was a phone call after I had settled in my room, to ask if everything was ok in the room. That is a plus point.

"Great for couples!"
Amazing little fisherman town, insane amounts of charm, and the cutest little hotel room that you've ever seen!!! If you're looking for something quick and convenient to Amsterdam, this hotel is about a 25 minute drive into the city. But after a busy day in the hustle and bustle of the excitement, it was nice to unwind while strolling down the village's cobblestone streets and popping in and out of the small shops. HOWEVER......beware if you're planning to take your pets with you!!! Our black lab came along for the excursion and there wasn't ANY grass within a reasonable walking distance for a fellow that's trying REALLY hard to hold it :( And I don't have children, but I would be cautious of visiting this area with very young children due to the number of canals that run through the town without barriers along the waterway!
