This hotel is in an awesome spot for eating out ( surrounded by good eateries ) and 2 great supermarkets. Very handy to airport. A couple of small complaints though, a shuttle service is offered to and from the airport. We rang for them to pick us up from the airport, all good. Our flight out was at 7am....and their shuttle didn't start until 9am, so we had to pay for a taxi. And... put a bedside table on both sides of the king bed, not just one. Other than that, excellent place.
Very nice and relaxing getaway. My only negative would be there was no server at the pool area. Each time we had to order drinks we had to go to the bar, which was a bit annoying when all I wanted to do was relax
I really liked the location and the cleanliness of this amazing hotel. Maybe a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale that people don't know about? It had a great view and a great terrace. Definitely recommend.
"Within walking distance of several good restaurant"
Mostly a very good place to stay, but the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was terrible. I waited almost one hour in 90 degree heat before they came to pick me up, plus I had to call them twice.
I recenty stayed one night at the Fort Lauderdale Renessaince Cruise Port Hotel for business purposes. As far as the staff, rooms, cleanlieness, convenience of location, and that sort of thing, everything was nice. However, I thought for the price they could have offered a litte more. There was no shuttle to and from the airport (FLL). I was also really surprised that there was no pool/spa at the hotel (hello, this is south Florida). Last, but not least, there was no refrigerator in the room which would have come in pretty handy. So while this hotel was great in everything it had to OFFER, I felt it could have offered a lot more espicially due to the fact it is a little pricey compared to some of the surrounding rates. It was nice but it was your basic room. Anything else that they did have to offer which is sometimes included in other hotel rates was extra (wifi, breakfast).
Many downtown attractions are centered on the Riverwalk, Fort Lauderdale’s chief arts, entertainment, and shopping district. Its landmarks include the Museum of Arts Fort Lauderdale and trendy Las Olas Boulevard. The Broward County Convention Center lies southeast of the downtown core. Nearby, palm trees shadow the promenade along Fort Lauderdale Beach, among the cleanest in the nation.
