Great hotel for the money. Renovated to contemporary style, love and room. Mattress very comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. Free shuttle to and from airport, $6 per person for cruise shuttle.
Comfortable room, clean, quiet and felt safe. Near public transportation, beach and very pretty landscaping. Staff very helpful and considerate. Had a shuttle at the site for transport to the dock for our cruise. It was very reasonable and they were very helpful and considerate. Walgreens nearby for last minute supplies. Used the public transport and the trolley for travel to he beach and to Lauderdale by the sea. Ate dinner there and enjoyed that as well. Sat at the beach with umbrella and chairs, a bit pricey for the day f rental. Ate locally at the beach at the Drunken Taco and enjoyed the sites from there, so close to the beach, walked and could watch our beach supplies and people swimming and playing. Many local restaurants and bars along the way. Ate dinner one night at local Mexican restaurant that was very good and the decorations inside and out were awesome, the lamp fixtures were beautiful. Staff very friendly. Prices reasonable and food very good. Staff very pleasant. Enjoyed our rip to the Caribbean on Oasis of the seas, amazing ship. Staff very helpful and friendly. Weather was beautiful and the skies were clear. Water temperature was great. People were surfing and swimming, water very clear. Not too crowded either, had plenty of space. Hotel was close to all that were wanted, also found golf cart guys that could transport you all around for a fee that was always negotiable. Prices a bit high along the beach at stores, but many places to see
We took the hotel shuttle bus from the airport (but if you don't want the hassle of waiting for the bus I doubt a taxi would be too costly as it's not far) and on arrival at the hotel were checked in by a very helpful and cheerful staff member, always a bonus after a long flight. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable which meant a good night's sleep for us both. We were within walking distance of the local eateries and if you need to pick up toiletries for your cruise there is a Walgreens nearby. Really good self serve breakfast too! For a small charge it was easy to arrange a shuttle to the cruise terminal the following morning so all in all, I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay a night or two before their cruise.
the motel is outdated, but very good for the price, right next to it is a car dealership that sells luxury cars like Ferraris, Bentleys, Porsches, McLarens and other makes of supercars, there is a Publix supermarket and a 24 hour Walgreen's pharmacy within a few walking steps, nearby a Wendy's, Dunkin' Donuts and more,
the room had a mini fridge and microwave oven, the beds were comfortable, the TV was an old tube type 27", the wifi internet was not very good, it cuts out every few minutes, there's free parking in the motel's lot right in front, I didn't see any bugs, room was quiet the time I stayed around May 3, free breakfast was 7am to 10am, basic coffee, muffins frozen bagels etc.
I would stay here again.
