"We traveled in the off season, The check-in address provided by Hotels.com was for summer travel. We called and were redirected to the correct check in location. The lodge is an older building and showing signs of wear though it is very clean and well maintained. We stayed one night as it was an overnight shopping trip. We will certainly go again for the convenience to our destination."

"This location, The Charles Inn at Vacationland in Bangor, ME is on your website and allowed me to book 3 rooms and it hasn’t been in operation for 2 yrs. I drove 4 hrs with family to arrive and find out we in fact did not have rooms to stay the weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. I had no other option but to look for 3 rooms elsewhere at the last minute and had to pay $1,300 more than I thought I was paying for the first place I thought I had booked. This location needs to be removed...

Breakfast was expansive with options sit in or take away to room. Excellent location to stay if you are visiting and don’t want a car or have a rental and want to travel. Travel as tourists often and will recommend if traveling to Maine or just Portland. Cheers"
