"We came into Phoenix to see a concert and since this hotel was right around the corner from the venue I figured it'd be a cool place to stay. It's an old hotel and it definitely looks like it. I'm no professional but I'm sure there's a way to keep the historic charm while still keeping it updated. The bed was really, really firm and if I hadn't driven 700 miles it probably would have been uncomfortable but after being in the car for 10 hours it wasn't the worst. "Charming hotel right in the heart of Route 66. Contacted the hotel to let them be aware of a late check in and they were more than accommodating. Still under construction to bring it to up to date but keep the late 1800's to early 1900's vibe. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. No tv 's in the rooms and it was a non issue. Would stay there again 110% as the front desk woman was extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and town of Williams. Kinda like a tour guide for a hotel. Nice to get away...
