Screebe House
5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, 65 reviews
"It's a fabulous place in a beautiful setting. The food in their restaurant is great and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The only reason I gave less than five stars on property condition is because the rooms don't have temperature controls or even fans to move air. Furthermore, the windows don't have screens so they don't want you to open them and let the midges in. Maybe it was just our room. That said, I would certainly stay here again. It's a very well kept and...

"This is a beautiful very opulent home for anyone looking for a touch of luxury . The room was very spacious and my favourite thing about it was, not the comfortable bed or the large choice of tv channels but the comfy armchairs. I love a comfy armchair in the bedroom and you will not get this in most hotels. The en suite is enormous with fab power shower and a jacuzzi bath. We also had access to the library in the evening which was lovely. Our host Mary is very nice and cooked us beautiful...

7.0 out of 10, Good, 94 reviews
"We were in Ireland visiting family when we got stuck in Drogheda late. We called the hotel to see if they could help us out since we simply couldn't get to Galway that night. The hotel was very rude and didn't do much to help us with the problem. I understand having cancellation policies, but this one seems to strict. I went online and it was clear the hotel didn't lose out on a reservation since they still had vacancies. Oh well. "

"Recently stayed here with my husband, infant son and my parents. We opted to stay in this apartment over a hotel so we could all be together in the one space. The location is amazing, views from the apartment are beautiful and the balcony to sit and have tea/coffee on a nice day was a great. The space was clean, but very basic and a lot of street noise off the front bedroom. I would recommend it to friends / couples traveling who are just looking for a place to sleep.
