A very nice comfy hotel. They gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room which was at the back of the hotel, room 442, we had a good view from the window and it is quieter than the front. A friend had a luxury room on the fith floor and couldn't tell much difference between ours and his room.
The staff were good and efficient.
Being on the main Avenue it was an easy walk to all the places we wanted to go, the train station, metro and a walk to the main square and sea front.
athe expensive bit was the breakfast charge of 22E so we ate out. The mini bar, cafe and resturant also expensive and the roof top was closed as it was the end of the season, I didn't have time to investigate the outside pool and if it was operational. the wifi was 15 e a day but if you fill out a form you can get it free but do remember to hand in the form at the end of your stay.
This is a very good hotel with comfortable and well appointed rooms, great breakfast - fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, hot buffet and wide choice of breads and cakes - you will not be disappointed. The reception staff were brilliant and seemed to be able to speak any language and the restaurant team were very friendly. It is literally five minutes walk to the tour bus starting point and an easy 20 / 25 minute leisurely stroll along the tree lined avenue to the main shopping area, castle and the waterfront. Would have no hesitation to stay here again if I ever get the opportunity to visit Lisbon - hence the strong recommendation.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The location was perfect. and the amenities were great. The staff at the front desk was most helpful in making excellent restaurant recommendations and reservations for us.
I use tripadvisor to plan so was expecting the free port and custard tarts, on arrival, and the free minibar. The room was modern with an excellent shower, good TV and all the extras you like to have in a good hotel. Iron, ironing board, proper hair drier, plenty of quality toiletries. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good.
We took advice on arrival at the airport and went upstairs to get a taxi. We got a taxi without queuing and paid 10 euro. We now know that we could have caught the yellow bus aerobus just next to the taxis. This would cost 3.50euro each but you can then use your ticket on the trams and if you have a 24h or 48h tour ticket the aerobus is free.
