"After we figured out how to get the hot water on, everything else was smooth. We booked all the flats. Pretty property, well maintained and spacious. "We cannot say enough positive things about the gardenia garden house. It was a wonderful location to explore the beaches and hiking spots around Chania, and experience the lovely culture of the people of Sternes. It is within 10 minutes of the airport but feels a world away. Comfortable furnishings surrounded by lemon and olive trees,herbs to cook with in its well equipped kitchen all made it a comfortable home for us. Hoping to return to this lovely spot!"

"This property is clean orderly had great beds and bedding and is in an amazing old neighborhood. It is a bit tricky to find and mapping does not account for the intricacies of the one way streets. I would highly recommend cars rented to access it be small. In chilly weather when the outdoors area isn’t really useful the family area is small. Overall it is exactly as advertised."

"Our place was very spacious for 4 people ( 2 couples), kitchen well equipped, lots of towels provided, great space for sleeping however beds were uncomfortable. Location was very good once we figured out where we were and where the main road was ( restaurants, groceries and bus to harbour). All in all, a very stood stay."
