"Excellent location room with sea view and pool , "
We were located in the Adult part of the complex , which was quiet, but suited us, the buggy service to and from the reception and bars worked well once you learn to chill out and unwind ,they arrive not quite to schedule but was ok . Or you can walk of course.pool area immaculate ,
We stayed at the hotel for 10 days with our 13 year old girl recently. The resort is massive and in a nice setting, about 45 mins by taxi / 1.5 hours by coach from Palmer. Entertainment team are great; good daily activities for adults and kids; evening shows are pretty good, a lot of dancing and singing shows though. Food and drinks are excellent, we enjoyed the food very much, lots of fish and prawns(if you like them). Only downside is we found some ants in our room for the first few days which was not very pleasant. The hotel responded reasonabely well and compensated us for a free late check out and meals, so we are happy in the end. In conslusion, its a great resort, will recommend it to friends; good value for money with excellent quality food and drinks!

After an unfortunate incident in which the bus driver was initially unable to attract the attention of the night porter(we arrived after 2AM)at the locked back gate as large bus unable to drive past front entrance,we had a very relaxing stay.Occurring just at the beginning of our stay, this situation caused unecessary frustration for us,the other bus passengers and not least the driver, and embarrassment for the member of hotel staff on duty. This could be sorted out with a little forward planning about guests' arrival arrangements.
Every thing else about the hotel was fine with the exception of the last morning at breakfast when the choice of bread fell below the usual high standard and some of the pineapple appeared over ripe.Other wise the breakfast was excellent with items such as fresh cherries and hot food cooked to the guest's requirements. Some variation in the dinner menu might be considered also.As a result we were tempted to eat out at the great range of restaurants in the town and especially at the marina.
My daughter and I stayed at the Esmeralda Park together with my 3 year old grandson.
We were lucky enough to be allocated a room slightly away from the entertainment area and pools which was perfect for us (Block J). The one bedroomed apartment was spacious as was the balcony with lovely comfy rattan armchairs. The idea was for me to sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge but I found this very uncomfortable after only one night so all 3 of us slept in the twin beds in the bedroom. I am sure the sofa bed would be fine for youngsters though! The room was cleaned 5 days out of 7 which was absolutely fine and explained to us when we booked in.
The restaurant is enormous and the food was delicious with different options every day of our stay even at breakfast. It was very busy and very child orientated. I believe there was a child free area available for dinner.
The entertainment for young children was excellent - a mini disco during the day and again at night from 8.30.
The beach was very close to the hotel and is lovely but very very crowded during the day. We opted for the wonderful pools and visited the beach late in the afternoon.
We would definitely stay at the Esmeralda Park again.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. We had asked for a quiet room with sea views, and we're pleased we got room 109 in Block F. We had views of the stunning blue water from our room, and spent so much time on our veranda as the view was so amazing, and the breeze was perfect, so we could leave the apartment doors open and turn the air conditioner off.
The hotel is within very easy walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, car hire, ATMs and beaches.
Highly recommend for a short stay where location is top priority and you don't mind the rooms being a bit tired.

Apartments are very well equipped for a short or longer stay. The kitchen in the 1 b/r apartment we stayed in had a hob with 4 electric rings plus an oven, a microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils and on arrival a small supply of washing up liquid etc.
The living room is a very good size with a sofa, table 4 chairs, flat screen tv with a couple of UK channels and opened out onto a patio and small front garden looking out onto pool & gardens.
Bedroom has a good sized wardrobe, small bedside cabinets on either side of the bed a tv unit with another flat screen tv with storage and a drawer underneath. Bed was a double of the kind that is 2 singles zipped together but very comfortable and linens changed regularly. Safe in wardrobe for a small charge.
Bathroom was well sized with a bath shower over bath good pressure and plentiful hot water.
The grounds of the complex are very pretty, clean & well maintained. Pool is a bit cold but always clean and a good size. Sunbeds around pool are very comfortable, well padded type with enough parasols if you want some shade.
We didn't use the bar at the complex but this was open every day during daytime hours.
Reception staff Carmen and Adrian were always friendly helpful and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them, thank you to both of them.
Would highly recommend for families or couples. We would definitely return and would recommend to family/friends.
Hotel from outside looked a bit scruffy, however once inside much better, pool area lovely, walk in pool gradually getting deeper. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast great, buffet evening meal good, but not enough choice. Location of hotel slightly out of centre, but plenty of restaurants & bars en route. Would recommend
Lovely position with lots going on. Lounging area around pool not quite big enough for number of guests but pool is really great. Pool bar area good. You can choose either rooms near the pool which seem to have more atmosphere or if you prefer quieter rooms then these are also available. Good holiday.

Six little coves with golden sand and turquoise waters is the raison d’être for Cala d’Or. A modern, multinational low-rise resort in southeast Mallorca, Cala d’Or winds its way around an indented shoreline, punctuated by a series of small marinas. When these beaches get full which in summer is certain head south to the equally beautiful coves at Cala Mondrago, Cala Figuera and Cala Llombards.
