"Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area. "A lovely stay at Bucknell Station Cottage, just perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children). The kids loved staying in their room together and the wooden train set was a nice touch, going well with looking out the window as the big trains rolled past! Very well located for day trips in and around Shropshire as well as over the nearby border in to lovely Wales. Home made flapjacks greeting us on arrival were very well received! Thanks to Nina,Sam and family, a lovely space for a quiet break away."

"This was a beautiful place, both the gardens and the actual rental. Rental was an amazing converted barn with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and a lounge and bathroom upstairs with vaulted ceilings and well equiped modern kitchen. Everything about the rental was first class. Rob greeted us on arival and was always available if needed. "The barn conversion is set in stunning Shropshire scenery. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property is warm and comfortable with many original features. There was plenty of room for the 11 family members in our group - lots of comfy armchairs, and pretty bedlinen on all the beds. The kitchen was slightly small for so large a group but we managed without a problem. There is a large Sainsbury's store within easy reach and we found plenty to do."

"We stayed at Lodge 2 for 40 days, January 22nd - March 1st although basic was pleasant enough, our view each day was wonderful, would definitely recommend, neighbours were friendly, not dog friendly enough though (needs a gate on decking) although our dog loved it, couple of minor niggles (toilet seat) which I tried to repair, owners are very accommodating and friendly, all in all a very pleasant stay."

"This is our 8th stay here. It's a lovely lodge in a peaceful, rural setting with a few other lodges surrounding it. It is really well equipped, comfortable an excellent find. We originally came for the steam railway that's nearby but our son lives close by so it's convenient for visiting. Jan and Paul are great hosts, nothing to much trouble and it's always spotless."

"All fine and dandy. Room and decor a little dated but super clean and everything we needed. All staff were really friendly but the star is the incomparable Linda. I really hope you are paying her enough because she is a gem! Nothing was too much trouble even won over my usually reserved, sons. So helpful , so attentive to all guests. She is the reason I would stay again. Thankyou"
