"Built in the 1500’s this place has been modernized for comfort. Beautiful remote area. Wonderful staff running the place. Great views! Quaint little bar on the first floor that offers cocktails and meats and cheeses. Very comfortable large king room. There is a library where one can relax and read or play games.Breakfast was very European with eggs cooked to order. Keep in mind there are stairs and no lift to keep the history alive.This place will forever be imbedded in my heart."

"The bartenders and servers are the most amazing pleasant people at hotel. I can’t say the same to the check in front desk . I payed one night before check Out, but when I dropped the key next morning she keep saying was not pay yet, very embarrassed for us until she check to another computer and say: oh ok . "Hotel is redelijk maar niet meer dan dat. Simpele kamer waar de koffers op de bank moeten worden geplaatst. Daardoor is er geen comfortabele plek meer om te zitten. Ontbijt is zich OK maar men kan merken dat hierop wordt getracht te sparen: weinig brood en beleg. Gedurende onze 3 weekse trip veel betere (4*) hotels gehad tegen een aanzienlijk lagere prijs.
