"This place is near the heart of Bolzano. Modern, clean, bright and well appointed. My wife and I stayed here and greatly enjoyed our time. Close to restaurants and attractions. Staff were helpful. Room is large and functional. Extremely modern controls. Our room had stunning view of the mountains. There’s also a fantastic gym with new equipment. We definitely stay here again."

"Built in the 1500’s this place has been modernized for comfort. Beautiful remote area. Wonderful staff running the place. Great views! Quaint little bar on the first floor that offers cocktails and meats and cheeses. Very comfortable large king room. There is a library where one can relax and read or play games.Breakfast was very European with eggs cooked to order. Keep in mind there are stairs and no lift to keep the history alive.This place will forever be imbedded in my heart."

"My wife and I chose Castel Hortenberg for our stay in Bolzano, and we were blown away from the moment we arrived through our departure. Secure parking with private gates. Upon arrival we were greeted with Prosecco, and this type of care and attention was given to us the entire time by Tommaso and the other staff. "Fantastic hotel. Beautiful room facing the Dolomites. Wonderful service by friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner is unbelievable, numerous options and delicious. The pools and sauna are the best I have experienced. Everything is luxurious and well appointed "
