The hotel offers old world charm mixed with modern convenience and cleanliness, and one of the best restaurants in Europe. Their dinner is marvelous, their breakfast buffet also fabulous but pricey.
The bed was so comfortable and room so quiet. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. I would return in a moment!
Everything is perfect - My ony problem was that the Wifi expires and you need to register again but other than that the hotel has the latest state of the art TV & PC with Skype in the room. The staff are really friendly and will do anything you need. It's small, compact but does what it says on the tin.
The front desk people are great. The room is ok. Clean and modern. Very small which is ok if other amenities make up for it which in this case they really don't.
The spa area (steam room, Sauna, treadmill, exercise bikes) is fine but no dumb bells or weights of any kind.
The restaurant had good food and for Germany not too expensive. That is important as there are VERY few choices of places to eat within walking distance. Although the pizza place (left out of the hotel a few feet to main road then right for 250 meters or so) was cheap and good.
The REWE supermarket is close and really good to look around.

We asked for a room away from the trains, but received one on the tracks. Might have been a translation mix-up? We were so tired the noise didn't bother us too much, but for the light sleeper make sure you get one away from the tracks. Easy walk to groceries, bus, tram station and westbanhof. Great room for a family stay. Plenty of room and accommodation for four.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Palmenhof. The room was very comfortable, although it was a little hot so we needed to open our balcony door to let cooler air in.
Housekeeping was very efficient and the desk staff were always friendly and very helpful with good English.

Walking distance to both the Skyline Plaza and Messe. I had come for two nights for the Messe and this was very conveniently located.
Since the mall and some restaurants are located 100 m from this location; food is not an issue.
Although there is construction happening nearby I did not hear anything in the morning however that may change in the future.
Nice hotel, but they are doing some renovations. It got a little noisy the last night there. Breakfast was Included and was the standard European breakfast of cheese, cold cuts, bread, and 3 min. eggs. Parking was on the streets, but free. Lots of shops, restaurants, and bakeries close by.Train station was close, and they have a pass you buy at the hotel for unlimited rides for 2 day's for just a little over 8 euros. Would definitely go back there
"Nice safe hotel near everything. Great for family"
It was at walking distance to the market but far enough to be in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The staff was helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Internet was accessible. Really enjoyed our stay there.
