Bed and Breakfast in Bellshill

"First of all , Tom is a lovely host friendly and had suggestions for dining and taxi service . Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for moving around . Breakfast was very hospitable and yummy food provided with company at one table with the other B&B persons. My only issue was that four rooms shared a bathroom on the second storey so maybe a suggestion would be to have potentially scheduled shower times or cleaning supplies to share between persons visiting . Thanks "

"Mary, our host, was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. The Gables is a cute, quaint building. Our room and bed were on the small side but both were comfortable. Easy bus ride from Edinburgh and train ride from Glasgow. "

"Beautiful location and a very comfortable bed, however, for a 4* rating hotel in quite a small town location, one would expect a more personal-touch type of a customer service. Room was very comfortable but upon closer inspection of the bedroom/bathroom aspects, quality comes closer to 3* level. "

The owners Sandy and Cathy make an effort to have a conversation with you around the breakfast table, and they sure do have stories to share. They make your stay very welcoming. "

"We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car! On arrival, we were greeted by Catriona and shown to our room (Superior Double Room w/ garden view), which was stunning and...

"Great family run place with nice rooms and a covenient location. This place is great if you're renting a car or not. It's right by the train station that goes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but in a small-town area so that if you have a rental car, it's easy to manage. Lots of sights to see nearby. Great Scottish breakfast on request! Nicola is an excellent cook."

"We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."
