"I booked this as an alternative to the Holiday Inn, which is a similar distance to the office I work from when in Beijing. I get bored of the cookie cutter hotels and this place looked much more interesting. The room (I booked the most basic type) was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Easy walking distance to many of the main sties of central Beijing - Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, BeiHai park and the intriguing maze of hustings around NanLuoGuXiang. The nearby Longfusi place and Dong The room was modern and spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I would use...

8.2 out of 10, Very good, (60)
"Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic."
