"Very beautiful views atop a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean. The road up is a challenge, for sure. Probably unlike anything else you have driven, but very doable with a little patience. The size of the place it a little tight for a family of 4, but you can make it work. The pool and patio are lovely and the hosts are very kind. "

"Amazing place we will definitely come back to Crete and stay here! While we were here had all we needed, home made breakfast daily, delicious food for lunch or dinner. On site convenient store and laundry. Great pool, view and drinks - we used them all. The location has a gorgeous view, relaxing vibe and easy access to tourist sites on the island. "We loved our 2nd stay at Hotel Bellevue...the family owned business is wonderful and extremely fair and reasonable on prices for rooms and food. Though not a high end luxury hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean, equipped with kitchenettes, and are located in a quiet & safe area with a beautiful view of the bay. Beaches are a short hike down the hill and the property also has a well kept pool. The service is exceptional and the ambience is traditional. The dedication to their family business...

"We booked this room at the last minute. At 29 Euros, I would never have booked it except I misread it as 129 Euros - guess I never thought a room could be so cheap. While it was a bit difficult to find and it was and older hotel, my Family was very pleasantly surprised. The room was the largest we had seen in 2 weeks in Greece. While a bit tired the room was very clean. Also, for only 5 Euros extra, we had the best AC of any hotel we stayed in. The pool could use some help, but who needs a pool...
