We were only there for a few hours before we got a late flight back to the UK but everything was fine. Good size rooms and beds with a modern fit-out. The location is great too - very close to the beach!

Friendly staff and great location

Delightful, friendly staff, especially Maria at reception. Had a room with a sea view but although there was a balcony, the sea view was largely obscured by buildings (so would save your money) The room itself was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, although it was very dated. breakfast on the first day was quite meagre but the second day was much better. We probably had breakfast too late the first morning. The pool is small but well-maintained. Two minute wall to crystal clear beach and lots of restaurants and bars.

The hotel was very well situated in a nice place. First they try to may you pay extra for the airconditionning, which was not mentionned at hotels.com. As I made a reclamation, they accepted it, thank you. Two major disappointing facts: The pool is old and small, not inviting even with very high temperatures outside. The bathroom is very outaged, can remeber my backpack trip to Thailand some 30 years ago. After the shower, you have to go to toilet with swimming gear as water was everywere. And nothing to hold the shower , you have to wash with one hand. this hotel is definitely not the points worth hotels.com users mention. The picture of the room does not reflect the very light renovation they did.

Ma réservation avait été perdu, j'ai du attendre pour avoir une chambre. Si vous n'avez pas la chance d'avoir une chambre à l'étage, vous pouvez vous retrouver avec l'escalier donnant accès aux autres chambres devant la porte, et à l'arriere ,une table et 2 chaises donnant sur un mur . Par contre chambre propre et petit dej bon .

Outstanding value in pleasant location

hen holidaying in Greece we require basic but clean accommodation in an area which is more Greek than touristic. The Belvedere fitted this bill perfectly and being situated 30 minutes form Heraklion was an ideal base to explore Crete. Agia Pelagia itself was not overrun with tourists,boasted a pleasant, safe beach, not big enough to be over exploited and had a number of very acceptable restaurants and bars nearby. During our stay 2 of these put on excellent Cretan live music.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Une bonne adresse même en pleine saison

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel car il se situe à 20 kms d'Heraklion, donc pas trop loin de l'aeroport, en voiture, et proche de la mer. C'est une petite structure familiale, très proche d'une petite plage, (bondée en pleine saison mais sympa). Situation idéale pour visiter (en voiture) le nord est et ouest de l’île (de la Canée à Malia); le plateau de Lassithi, le centre mais loin pour les gorges de Samaria ou l'extrême ouest ou le sud. Toutes commodités juste à côté de l'hotel. Calme et pas de musique tonitruante comme dans beaucoup d'hôtels. Une petite piscine que nous n'avons pas utilisée (la mer est juste à côté !). Appréciable aussi, le parking à côté de l'hôtel, malgré la proximité de la plage. Un petit déjeuner correct et donc un rapport qualité-prix vraiment intéressant. Une bonne adresse pour ceux qui recherche un confort correct, le calme et pas d’animations bruyantes !

Disappointed! It had good reviews but I can't believe so many people were happy with this hotel. Room wasn't cleaned. Towels and bed linen smelt. Swimming pool wasn't clean.

Välvårdat hotell i lugnt område.

Vi hade bokat två nätter men hade kunnat stanna ett par till. Härligt poolområde med restaurang/bar för hotellets gäster vid sidan av. OBS! Ej högljutt alls. Väldigt lugnt. Barnvänligt. Trevlig personal. Tyvärr är inte frukosten något att hurra för, så se till att köpa eget och äta på balkongen i så fall.

Отдыхал с семьей с двумя детьми. Брал 5 дней с завтраком (завтраки однообразные). Отличный отель для самостоятельных путешественников. Есть большая парковка. Очень хорошо расположен, до пляжа пару минут ходьбы. Море спокойное и очень чистое. Также рядом есть небольшой супермаркет с приличным ассортиментом товаров. Персонал в отеле приветливый, убирались ежедневно. Минус - Wi-Fi очень слабый, в номере не ловил практически.
