"We loved our 2nd stay at Hotel Bellevue...the family owned business is wonderful and extremely fair and reasonable on prices for rooms and food. "We arrived late and the key had been left for us but unfortunately we did not see it and pressed the bell. Despite waking the owners at 1am, we were forgiven for our mistake and the check in process went smoothly. The hotel is high up on the outskirts of Agia Pelagia with amazing views. "Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."

"Oct 2019. We arrived late evening and the man on the desk, was not very kind to us, very rude. Had to email a copy of booking to reception to prove who we was. The rest of reception staff was very good during our 2 weeks stay. Our room was located near the main road right at bottom of the steps.
