I loved Maison Tofani. This place made my trip. Hotel management were incredible helpful, nice and welcoming. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, spacious, modern yet had lots of personality. The breakfast was just incredible and abundant. With fresh fruit trays, cappuccinos, cold cuts, pastries, vegetables, name it! The location is perfect! very central and safe with everything at your reach. The overall look and feel of the whole complex is just incredible. I felt better than home. I didn't want to leave.

I was worried as after booking the hotel I read some terrible reviews on another popular review site. It was a holiday for my 40th birthday and one that I wanted to be special for my partner too who was in much need of a good holiday. When we arrived the hotel staff were exceptional friendly and informed us we had been upgraded to one of their newly refurbished rooms. The receptionist showed us up to our room and I almost hugged him. It was stunning! Clean, cool and crisp in its design and decoration and had a view of the bay of Naples to die for. The bed was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was very inviting after a hot morning of exploring and a welcome end to a day trip out. The restaurant although a little pricy was good and again the staff were great. All in all a wonderful holiday that neither of us will forget. Sorrento will live long in the memory as one of our favourite holidays and we will definitely return and stay at the Hilton again.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a jungle like paradise on the border of St Agnello and Sorrento. Just a few mins walk from Sorrento. Looking out our balcony was the most gorgeous view with palm trees and all sorts of vegegation and even beautiful birds. The room was roomy with a beautilful bathroom. Staff was great and the breakfast was the best we had in Italy. All sorts of fruits, cereals, pastries, breads, juices, cold cuts, cheeses and of course expresso or cappuccino. We had a little difficulty locating the hotel but once we got our bearings we were experts. St. Agnello is on the border of the hotel and a beautiful town, clean with wonderful friendly people. We especially loved the friendship we made with Mario who owns Cafe Michaelangelo. Great food and he went out of his way to make us special foods and desserts. Don't have a complaint about anything. Took the train to Pompeii, also the boat trip around Amalfi.

There are not that many beaches that are accessible in this area, not to mention very private. This facility has its own beach and swim area not shared with the marina or docks like a lot of the others that we observed. Relaxation was completely achieved at the opening of a beach side umbrella. Cheers.

Very good experience ... Location was great ..port,train station and dining were very close by... Area being close to main piazza, was safe late evening ... Complete breakfast (hot and cold) buffet was also good... Only complain we have, rooms could be more sound proof ( we could hear voices from adjacent room) but that didn't bother us much.

The hotel is perfect for folks who want the beach more than anything else. It does have a private beach just down the steps from the hotel's deck. The beach is well taken care of - on the last day we saw a small bulldozer leveling the pebbles. That's right - pebbles. You won't find good sand anywhere in Sorrento. The hotel is way off the main drag, but it has a free-during-the-day, 1 euro at night shuttle that goes back and forth every hour and takes you right to downtown Sorrento. Note that there's a no-shuttle window between 6:30 and 10 pm to get back to the hotel. The shuttle was always on time, sometimes early, and it makes you appreciate and admire Italian driving. :) The shuttle rides takes ~15 minutes. Do contact the hotel prior to your arrival if you are arriving by train and arrange for the shuttle pickup. Most of the guests in the hotel were older folks - in fact, other than me and my wife and another young married couple, everybody else was in the 50s-60s-... You won't find any nightlife activities at the hotel or in the surrounding area. They had live music every night - typical Italian repertoire. So if action is what you are after, stay in Sorrento (this hotel is technically speaking is located in Meta). Not that there's much action at night anyway - we saw ads for a couple of clubs, but didn't get a sense that there was much to do after the dinner. So, to summarize, if you want the beach in Sorrento, this hotel is a great choice.

Charming and cozy hotel. Only minutes away from Sorrento, with free shuttle buses service. The hotel manager is charming and pleasant and gives a homely atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and spacious and breakfast delicious and varied.
