We discovered the Hotel Aminta whilst out exploring on a previous holiday to Sorrento some 9 years ago. We decided when we come back to the area we would stay there and were so glad we did. We came to Sorrento to celebrate our anniversary and the two recent engagements of our son and daughter. Everything about the hotel is wonderful and cannot praise it highly enough. The location is fabulous with the most amazing views ever over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples and with beautiful sunrises every single day. We were lucky that our rooms were all located near each other on the same floor. The hotel is just the perfect size and staff all so friendly and the service given is very special and would say much better than in some of the larger hotels. Our family had never been to Italy before so this was an amazing experience for all of them. Our only complaint would be that the holiday ended too quickly!
We look forward to returning one day and would not think of staying anywhere other than the Aminta.

"Excellent location and exceptionally helpful staff"
I stayed with my mum at the Antiche Mura. We wanted a hotel with a seaview and unfortunately this hotel didn't have one, however it more than made up for it with the location, the room and the staff.
Check in was at 2pm and we arrived in Naples at 10.30 and the hotel driver picked us up. As the hotel became aware that we had an early morning flight, when we turned up at the hotel (expecting to drop our bags off) they said they had prepared the room early and we were allowed to check in to our rooms straight away, at 11am!
Overall, we loved our rooms and the location was perfect.

We stayed at Minervetta this June with our 2 children (11 and 14). The rooms were very clean, well equipped and had beautiful views. La Minervetta is a gem. My only regret is that the beach in Sorrento is not that great. However, getting to nice beaches from Sorrento is easy and the staff at La Minervetta will assist you with your daily excursions to old ruins, beaches or restaurants. This is a great hotel.

aside from a couple foreign hairs in the bathroom on arrival, my stay was perfect. The staff goes above and beyond. If you ask them a question or to perform a task, each staff member takes care of you him or herself. Even if it's not their job. Total customer service. The hotel rooms are lovely. The views are awesome. I had lobster stuffed ravioli in the restaurant and it was tied for my favorite meal in Italy. I would love to stay here again.

"Great staff and facilities, good location and room"
I had a really nice stay. The staff on reception and throughout the hotel were were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. The swimming pool area was well stocked with sunbeds (they also had face visors attached to shield from the sun which was a good addition!) Helpful reception staff advised on various excursions which were easy to organise transport to. The room was cleaned very well. I was travelling alone but felt relaxed there.
We booked this room for the view of Mt. Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. We couldn't have been more pleased. Our room, 617 offered all for which we had hoped. It was a large room with beautifully tiled floors and bathroom. The breakfast was good with a large variety or food. We had mimosas every morning. The pool was lovely and the grounds were impeccable. We would most assuredly stay here again. It is close to the main square and shopping and easy accessibility to the town. It was a short walk from the train station through the Piazza Lauro to the hotel. The rooms were quiet and the window had grates which kept out the light. We often just sat on our balcony and enjoyed our view. I can't say enough "good" about this hotel; it was a highlight of our trip to Sorrento.

We are just back from short weekend and this hotel was so lovely, our sea view was amazing. We stayed half board and opted for breakfast and dinner but you could have chooses lunch by the pool instead of dinner. The hotel is a short walk from the center of town but in return you get the amazing views from the pool or room, this is a big plus which none of the town center hotels could offer. If you arrive by boat you can simply take a bus up to the town then either walk to the hotel or take a second bus unless you want to pay a taxi which cost a lot!!! The hotel has live music every night. I would totally recommend this hotel and would love to visit again.
