We had a fabulous week in The Grande hotel Aminta Sorrrento.
As the hotel is on the hillside above Sorrento it has unequalled panoramic vistas of The Bay of Naples
Perfectly located to reach the town and atractions of the bay of Naples with the Hotel shuttle coach to the centre of Sorrento and with just a few minutes walk to the main bus and train stations.
The hotel was spotless and clean
The food was delicous, so much so we ate in the hotel rather than eat out every night.
All the staff were friendly courteous and helpful in the warm relaxed manner that Italians do so well.
We stayed in the Annex which is situated in the grounds we loved walking through through the olive grove to our room. Which was a peaceful retreat after enjoying the excursions of the day
Would love to visit the Bay of Naples and stay in this Hotel again
A perfect holiday
The hotel is super-stylish, but in a really accessible and welcoming way. The setting and views are simply unbeatbale and everything, from furnishings to the breakfasts is of a really high quality. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Great location near train station and center of town so you can walk. Everything was spotless and the staff was friendly and spoke English very well. The outdoor view overlooks Naples Bay and was outstanding. Lots of outdoor seating space to enjoy. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The hotel was lovely and located on a quiet street away from the crowded and noisy center of town. Our room was nice, but the best part of staying in this hotel is the grounds with its gardens and places to sit and enjoy the views of the harbor and sea. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.

We dined one evening at the Hotel, and to my surprise we found the cost to be cheaper than outside , the buffet
Breakfast was of course very typical of a 4 star Hotel, plentiful.
Sorrento was very busy for the end of season,i can't imagine what it must be like in August,do go to AnaCapri The Chair lift to the top of Mount Solerno is worth the effort on its own, but make sure you get there early it gets very BUSY!
Great hotel, wonderful, romantic view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The concierge managed to get us a seemingly impossible reservation at the phenomenal Don Alfonso restaurant - highly recommended for a special occasion (It's has two Michelin stars and is priced accordingly).
The porter is a real character and his skill are rearranging the cars in the small car park was astonishing! A contender if when the current Stig retires!
Hotel was very clean and exceptionally comfortable and the staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome. You had a lovely pool with loungers and towels and also the use of the pool at the sister hotel the Grand Royal which overlooked the sea. The restaurant served great food, three course dinners and fab breakfasts, would certainly go back.
