"Everything was perfect since we arrived. The staff were so kind going above and beyond at every step, the room had a beautiful view—it’s a bit far from the city but apparently they have a shuttle you can ask for in advance. We stayed in a room with partial seaside view but instead we got a full view! It was as pictured, with a terrace and view to ourselves. Even if you don’t get a room with a view, they have outdoor seating with the most amazing view, and there’s beautiful live music in the evenings from 8-8:30pm. They also have their private seaside/beach area and pool open to guests—many other beaches in the area are not free, while the hotels is both private and free for guests. When we went it was nearly empty, very private, and breathtaking beauty."

"Loved Grand Hotel de La Ville. Such beautiful rooms with inlaid wood, marble bathrooms, lovely painted tile floors. Breakfast and staff excellent. We had an end-view partial sea view, which I would skip in the future. Mostly a view of a neighboring apartment building, but everything else is fantastic. 5 minute walk to train station, 10 minute walk to shopping downtown."

"Beautiful boutique hotel- large rooms, beautiful decor and very up to date plumbing. Classy and elegant. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, go out of their way to be helpful. The desk staff assisted us with directions and ideas, as well as assisting us with reservations. We had a drink in the beautiful bar in the evenings before we went out- outstanding quality and service. Marco the bartender was excellent. The breakfast was included in our rate and was wonderful- huge spread that included a wide variety of cakes and homemade marmalade in addition to the usual offerings. Could not be a more convenient location. "

"The Tramantano is truly unique. It is perched on the edge of the cliff overlooking the Mediterranean with unbelievable views from the rooms, bar and restaurants. The staff was gracious at all times. The hotel is located right in the middle of the most interesting and historic part of town. We will definitely return. "

"Great hotel and we were given an upgrade to one of the villa style rooms. The air-con wasn’t available until June we were told, which with large windows on a hot day, made it quite stuffy without opening the doors. Overall, a great spot with some even better views over Sorrento. "

"We loved our stay at Hotel Michelangelo! Close walking distance to the main piazza but far enough to where it’s much more quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. The two rooftop terraces and ground floor pool were perfect for relaxing during the day. Breakfast in the hotel had many options of great quality. Would recommend!"
